2022-23 WINTER YOUTH PROGRAMS
The Fort Atkinson Boys Basketball Association is excited to offer multiple opportunities for students to play the game of basketball. Our LIL' DRIBBLERS PROGRAM was designed by the Fort Atkinson High School Coach, Mike Hintz. It is our philosophy that proper shooting form is developed at a young age. The use of smaller sized basketballs balls (25.5 size, 14 oz) will allow players to development good fundamentals, setting a strong foundation for future success. Players are encouraged to try out for a TRAVELING TEAM once they reach 3rd grade. Our traveling teams compete in 2 of the best Youth Basketball Leagues in Wisconsin, the Badger Development League (BDL) and the Wisconsin Youth Basketball League (WYBL). New for the 2022-23 season, 5th and 6th graders can join the FORT ATKINSON YOUTH BASKETBALL LEAGUE (FaYBL).

MORE PAYOUTS COMING
Due to the overwhelming amount of balls sold by both programs we are adding the following to this year's raffle.
Every ball purchased will be entered into a 100 square pool for the NCAA March Madness tournament. Number boards will be posted on the various websites/social media pages so you are aware of what your numbers are for all 67 games of the NCAA March Madness tournament. For example--your 2 numbers end up being 5 for the home team and 2 for the visiting team, which means for all 67 games that are the team's final number you will win $5. With over 25 boards currently in play that means the Extravaganza will be paying out an additional $8375.
Thank you to everyone for your support of this year's Fort Atkinson Basketball Extravaganza.
Fort Basketball Extravaganza committee
Please read below for some important information regarding the Fort Basketball Extravaganza. Upon completion of reading, please forward this to all individuals your family has sold balls to.
Due to high COVID quarantines amongst both programs and the high COVID in our community, the committee has decided to move forward with the following plan:
This Saturday we will hold the ball raffle for the 4 main cash prizes and the 5th-grade boys team basket(this is due to time-sensitive basketball tickets being a part of the package). The drawing will be held Saturday, Jan 15, 2022 at 8 pm at the Creamery and will be streamed live on Facebook live through the various Facebook streams both programs use. Complete details on the streams will be posted on www.fortboysbasketball.com and ladyblackhawksyouthbasketball.com
Friday by 5 pm, the assigned ball numbers will be posted on www.fortboysbasketball.com, this will again be updated by 7:45 Saturday night so all purchasers are aware of their assigned ball number. Additionally, we will mass email all purchasers(that emails were provided for), the document to view their assigned ball number. Winners will be posted on these sites as well.
The evening at the Creamery this Saturday will be drastically different due to the current effects COVID is having on participants of the event and our community.
Those that want to attend the Creamery between 5 and 9 pm to watch the drawing are more than welcome to do so. There will be a cash bar(each person attending Saturday will receive 2 complimentary beverage tickets), we will have the NFL playoff games and college basketball games streaming and Alumni tournament director Greg Riddell will have bags, darts, card and dice games for those interested in participating. Additionally, we will be bringing in complimentary Sal's pizza. For those that would like to order food from Paddy's and/or Tavern on the Rock; we will have their menus on-site and you can order for take-out to be brought into the venue
With that said, the full planned evening event is being postponed until Saturday April 2nd(Saturday of Final Four week). The theme will be alma mater, favorite college basketball team and/or favorite basketball player(real or fictional). All baskets built for the event will be moved to that day. More details regarding the event will be released by the committee over the next month. as the focus and theme have now changed.
ALL INDIVIDUALS THAT PURCHASED BALLS WILL HAVE THEIR BALLS TRANSFERRED TO THE APRIL 2ND EVENT.
The April 2nd drawing will be for all remaining prizes plus additional prizes the committee will continue to secure. Additionally, all individuals that purchased a ball will be placed into a number pool to be eligible to win money on every NCAA tourney game in this year's NCAA 2022 March Madness tournament. These will be emailed to all purchasers and placed on our sites along with payout information, etc
WE STILL HIGHLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO GET YOUR BALL SALE FORMS TURNED IN BEFORE THE DRAWING ON SATURDAY.
We want to thank Katie Stahl and The Creamery for their understanding and willingness to work with our event given the circumstances.
Stay healthy, thank you to all for your support of the Fort Basketball Extravaganza.
